Marcia Campos is currently a professor (assistant professor II) at the Social Communication Department of the Catholic University of Pernambuco - UNICAP. Marcia Campos has got her Post-Doctorate from the Breda University of Applied Sciences, Netherlands, Master and PhD in Design from the Federal University of Pernambuco, Brazil and graduated in Social Communication in Journalism from Catholic University of Pernambuco, Brazil.

She is professional photographer in the areas of photojournalism, photo advertising, photography architecture and photography for games. Has experience in the field of Visual Communication, with emphasis on Photography in new technologies, studies focused on the research project is being studied the relationship of optical aspects of photographic composition in the user experience of virtual environments.
